Where is the studio?
We’re on Mansfield Road in Nottingham City Centre, less than five minutes walk from the Victoria Shopping Centre and 20 minutes walk from Nottingham Train Station.
Is there parking available?
We don’t have parking on site, but there are two multi-storey car parks just a couple of minutes away at the Victoria Shopping Centre and Trinity Square.
How much does a photoshoot cost?
Our fees vary depending on the type of shoot you’re looking for and the presentation of the photos you order, but most clients invest between £300 and £1500 in their portraits. The best idea is to call us and arrange a consultation at the studio so we can go through the options with you before you book your shoot.
Do I have to make an appointment?
Shoots are by appointment only and are normally available Wednesday to Saturday. We usually book a minimum of 7 days in advance to allow time to plan for your shoot. Please note that weekend and holiday appointments in particular are very sought after, so please contact us as far ahead as possible.
Can I book a photoshoot for somebody else?
We ask that clients arrange their own booking so that we can discuss their requirements with them. If you’d like to arrange a shoot for a friend or relative, we’d recommend ordering them a gift voucher from our online shop so they can book in at a time to suit them.
Who needs to attend when the shoot involves children?
All those under 21 years old must be accompanied by their parent(s) or legal guardian for all appointments at the studio including their shoot and viewing session. For this reason, we ask that their parent or guardian book their session for them.
I already have a voucher, will I have to pay a deposit?
All appointments require a refundable deposit to be paid when booking, the amount of which is determined by the type of shoot and is taken by debit or credit card over the phone. This secures both your shoot and viewing appointments and is normally deducted from the balance of your order or can be returned to your card.
How long is a shoot at your studio?
We usually assign between 20 minutes and 2 hours in the studio depending on the shoot type, but it all depends on your requirements.
Who will be my photographer?
We have fantastic team of photographers, each of whom have their own areas of expertise and experience. We’ll book your shoot with the one we think would be best for you, but you are welcome to request a particular photographer if you wish.
Can you come to my home or on location?
We can certainly come on location for your shoot depending on the style of images you’re looking for. Give us a call to discuss your requirements and we can advise you on the best option.
Can you arrange make-up and hair styling?
We have professional makeup artists and hair stylists at the studio who can style you before your shoot. Some vouchers include this service, but it can be added to any shoot depending on our availability. We only offer hairstyling at the studio, so please ensure your hair is cut and coloured in time for your shoot.
Can I get changed at the studio?
We have changing facilities at the studio and you’re welcome to change here for your shoot. Some shoots also include multiple outfits, so make sure you bring the correct clothing and accessories.
Do you provide outfits and accessories?
We do not have a wardrobe here, so please bring all the clothes you need for your shoot. However, we do have a collection of props and accessories that we often use to style your shoot.
Can we bring our own props?
You’re very welcome to personalise your shoot with props of your own, please contact us if you’d like to discuss your ideas.
How do I order my photos?
Your private viewing session is an important part of your photoshoot. We’ll show you all the best images from your session on our HD projector and your consultant will guide you through the ordering process, advising you on our product range and creating a bespoke collection of portraits for you.
Can I view them online or at home?
We do not offer any online or remote viewing service, all orders are taken at the studio in your viewing session. For this reason you are welcome to invite any other interested parties to the viewing session such as partners, siblings, grandparents, aunties and uncles.
What products do you offer?
We specialise in wall art and offer a range of traditional and contemporary styles to suit your images and decor. We also offer a range of bespoke bookbound albums to house your favourite images and share with friends and family.
Can I buy the master disk?
You can purchase a master disk of high resolution digital files which includes a licence to print the photos as well as use them digitally. This offers endless flexibility and the ability to share your favourite images freely.
How do I pay for my order?
Orders are paid for at your viewing session and we accept cash, debit cards and all major credit cards except American Express.
Can I pay in instalments?
We offer a 0% interest payment plan for orders over £500 for which a 25% deposit is required on the day. Please contact us for further information.
When will my order be ready?
All our products are made to order and will be available to collect from the studio approximately 6 weeks after your order is placed. Should you require your order to be fast-tracked for a special occasion, this may be possible for a surcharge of 20%.
Do I have to collect my order?
All orders must be collected from the studio. If this is difficult, we can arrange for a quote from a courier based on the weight and size of the items ordered.
