A Little History

Since we opened our doors in February 2002, Photo Nottingham has evolved into the perfect environment to capture studio portraits for our clients in comfort.

The Studio

The studio is a very versatile space with a wide range of backdrops and props. Our ever-growing collection of studio lights allow us to create unique images for you and your home or business.

The Loft

The Loft set was inspired by the studio’s heritage as Nottingham’s oldest surviving Lace Factory. Featuring the original brickwork and floorboards alongside industrial props, it’s the perfect space to create modern, urban portraits.

Natural Light

We’ve restored the original sash windows to allow soft light to flood the studios, creating the option of contemporary daylight portraits alongside the studio lighting you might expect.

Classic Backgrounds

Our hand-painted canvas backdrop is perfect for classical portraits; it’s soft colours and texture are beautiful under the studio lights and also look amazing in black and white for a truly vintage feel.

Couture Studio

Inspired by fashion magazines such as Vanity Fair, our lovingly crafted Couture set was hand-painted by a scenic artist from the theatre. With its grand staircase and vintage furniture, this is the perfect space to create cinematic and glamorous portraits.

Styling Room

Our styling room was designed to allow our fabulous makeup artist to create the perfect makeup look and hairstyle for any photoshoot, with a wide collection of MAC makeup and studio lights to ensure you look and feel amazing before you set foot in the studio.

Media Lounge

We’re passionate about displaying photography as art, so our media lounge is filled with inspiration for how to present your photos in your home as well as a high definition screen and gallery wall to view your photos.
