Preserving the cherished moment you welcome a new addition to your family through enchanting artwork to add to your family’s storyYou will have a million things to think about when your baby arrives and so we advise that you book your newborn session early to secure your space at the studio. We recommend that newborn sessions are held at between 5 and 14 days old – the 10th day is our favourite! Of course babies don’t always arrive to schedule and so we are flexible and can reschedule if we need to!
Capturing those first precious moments is something we are passionate about preserving for you. You deserve a lasting family heirloom that captures the joy and love that your family shares at this moment in time. That is why we work really hard to get to know the families that come to us, to find out what’s important to you and let your individual personalities shine through in the portraits that we capture.
Here’s how we do it:
Your Discovery Call is an integral part of your experience. It’s your opportunity to tell us your family’s story, what brought you to us and what makes your new arrival so precious. We encourage you to slow down, take a break from the day to day routine, and really explore with us what you need from your newborn portraits.
Your Newborn Photographic Experience will involve a relaxed, extended photoshoot over a couple of hours. We allow extra time for changes & feeds as we go, so there’s no pressure on the family to get the perfect portraits immediately. You’ll be surprised how quickly your baby will change and grow; your portraits will serve as wonderful memories from this time in your life.
Your finished Artwork will serve as a constant reminder of the love and joy that your family shares. We create portraits that enable you to see to see the best in yourself and your loved ones, to capture what really matters to you and them. The portraits that we capture will become heirlooms, passed on from generation to generation.

Capturing photographs of our baby girl at just a few days old at Photo Nottingham was such an incredible experience.
